26 july 2017 y. - 26 september 2017 y.

On July 21 of this year in the conference hall of JSC "Uzbekenergo" a training seminar was held on the theme: "Combat against corruption", aimed at further raising the spiritual and legal literacy of the employees of the joint-stock company.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, employees of the executive apparatus of JSC "Uzbekenergo" and structural divisions of the society. Corruption is a phenomenon that threatens the economic, social and spiritual life of any society, hindering the development of the country. Since the first days of independence, consistent work has been carried out to ensure the rule of law, protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, reform the judicial and legal system, and combat corruption in the framework of the overall strategy for building a democratic state and a strong civil society.

During the training seminar participants were given detailed information in this direction. In addition, it was specifically noted that the obstacle to the spread of this phenomenon is not only the task of law enforcement agencies, but also of each of us. In the course of the event, it was also stressed that Sh. Mirziyoyev, the head of our country, noted in his speech at the joint session of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis: "We must take decisive measures to counteract and prevent corruption in our society, various crimes and offenses, to ensure in practice the postulate of law, that punishment for a crime is inevitable." This shows how serious a threat to the state is a phenomenon such as corruption.

Proceeding from this, a legal mechanism for fighting corruption was created and on January 3, 2017, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption" was adopted, which serves as an important factor in regulating relations in the field of combating corruption.

During the training seminar, which took place in the form of questions and answers, as well as a lively discussion, there was also a video showing on the topic prepared by the responsible officials of the General Prosecutor's Office. At the end of the training seminar, participants received detailed answers to their questions.
